Who am I? What is my purpose in life? Questions that came up in me from an early age. I had the feeling that the universe had something else in mind for me.
It still took me many years to finally admit to myself that I couldn't live the life I was living. Until I reached the point that my fire slowly burned out, and I fell very deep. I see now that I needed to fall so far in order to wake up, to see the light. I started travelling and discovered other ways of living that sparked my heart.
Yoga came on my path and changed my life. When I was on my mat, I finally allowed myself to be me, to accept my body, to fully feel my emotions, to be in my heart and just be. And from that moment on I knew I couldn't go back to my life in the Netherlands. I needed to follow my heart and the spark that I felt in my heart, the feeling of finally being alive. I travelled more and lived in a beautiful spiritual community in Sweden, a place that for the first time felt like home.
Yoga became my daily practice, my way of living. I fell in love with Traditional Hatha Yoga, a practice rooted in the heart, so much more than a physical practice. And I felt that I wanted to share this with the world because yoga brought me back to life, and back home into my heart.
I did two Hatha Yoga teacher trainings and started teaching in my community. During that time I met my husband and the moment he asked me to join him to Australia I felt a full yes in my whole body. And here I am, living in this beautiful place, blessed with an amazing community. When life is flowing and I follow my heart, I know I am doing the right thing. And at this point in my life, this is exactly where I need to be. I look forward to meeting you on the mat and sharing my practice from my heart with you. Know that you are welcome as you are, you are perfect.

Paula provides an opportunity to step aside from the demands of a busy life through her Iyengar Yoga classes. As you step onto your mat, Paula guides you to anchor the mind in breath and sensation. In Paula’s class, you will explore a wide range of asanas (postures) including standing poses, seated poses, active dynamic work and restorative practices. When we practice yoga we are looking to develop evenness and awareness through both sides of the body, internally and externally as well as develop physical strength and flexibility.
We take the body/mind on a journey when we work with asana, this allows you to explore your range of movement and explore the breath. Physical and emotional strength and flexibility develop over time but more important than the stretch is the ability the practice has in leading you towards stillness thus helping you to release tension. We learn to pay attention internally. A rare experience in day to day life. We work as a group but to the capacity of you as an individual respecting the limitations of the physical body and what it means to be human.
Paula has been teaching yoga for over twenty years in studios in Melbourne and in the Bega Valley. She is committed to the ongoing journey of yoga and healing and offers group classes and private one on one classes for beginners, intermediate and experienced students. She looks forward to welcoming you to classes in Bermagui at Good Vibes Studio where you will leave the class feeling refreshed and uplifted.

The first Sunday of each month 4-6pm
All Welcome.
Kirtan is a joyful meditation practice which is part of Yoga tradition. It involves coming together with others and rhythmically chanting mantras with music.
Mantras are root sounds. They are not an ordinary language. The purpose of chanting mantra is to free the mundane mind, open our heart and us connect with our infinite nature.
The ancient sound vibrations invoke divine qualities and virtues such as love, wisdom, courage, peace, truth and bliss. These vibrations flow through us and into our community and world. As a
Yoga practice Kirtan brings us together as one through the vibration of the mantra.
We invite you to join us in this ‘flow of grace’.
We are a group of friends who are passionate about Yoga and Kirtan. We’ve been playing together
for some years.
We feel honoured to share this this simple joyful meditation with you.
All are welcome, (no singing experience needed) : )
Hope to see you there…
Namaste,
The Flow of Grace Kirtan Kollective

I was raised by the lands and many waters of the stunning Yuin Country and have spent most of my adult years in Naarm (Melbourne) and abroad. My heritage is Irish and white-colonial Australian settler. My astrology is Year of the Rabbit, Virgo Sun, Taurus Rising, and Leo Moon.
After following my intuition to slow down and tune in deeper, I recently landed in Narooma with my partner and our quirky little Bichon Frisé, Gnocchi. I spend my time immersing myself into nature, Yoga, Pilates, art, design, reading and preparing elaborate meals for loved ones. My favourite things to cook are nourishing broths, Middle Eastern feasts, Thai curries and South Asian dishes. I also love learning and yapping about all conditions of the human-soul experience. What a trip!
What I love most about Yoga is that it feels like a fun yet powerful way to challenge limiting beliefs and tap into deeper wisdom. It doesn’t always have to be so serious!
I’ve been practicing Yoga since 2003 and draw on my background as a Transpersonal Therapist and Energy Healer to integrate the ancient wisdom of Yoga into my classes. I’m inspired by the Traditional Vedic principles of Yoga and Ayurveda, as well as the devotional path of Bhakti Yoga and the embodied practices of Tantric traditions. My approach is also shaped by personal explorations of animism, meditation, and process-oriented psychology.
As a multidisciplinary practitioner, I love to weave movement, breath, self-inquiry, and deep inner listening into my flows. My classes are both dynamic and inclusive, balancing challenge with curiosity. Expect to explore Yoga beyond the physical—as a practice that facilitates deeper connection to Self, nature, and universal consciousness, both on and off the mat.
Ultimately, I see modern Yoga as a rehearsal for “real life”—a space where you’re free to show up exactly as you are, make mistakes, explore new possibilities, and process life’s experiences, so that when you step off the mat, you feel more resourced and resilient as you face whatever comes your way.
My classes invite you into a practice that is rich with intention; a space where Yoga becomes a dancing dialogue between the material and immaterial aspects of life. My core intention is always to guide you to embrace all dimensions of yourself in a loving, playful way.
